Been gone for a long time from this site and just returned. Totally messed up the final answer for POTC...oh well. But what's this conspiracy game some of you are discussing? Can it still be entered?

I just received an email from Volvo and yes, the US solution was as most of us determined: 43642476 (numbers from # of lines in the figures, order from the "ouliers" in the puzzle columns).

Just received this email from Volvo...Dear hunter,

The Hunt is almost over. Thousands of hunters from all over the world searched tirelessly for that desired Volvo XC90 inspired by Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

It sure wasn't easy. If you completed the trip around the world and solved all puzzles, we think you should be proud of yourself! We noticed that some people went to great lengths to solve puzzles. We saw the valiant struggles. But we also saw the rise of a close Hunt community with people helping each other along, an effect we appreciate very much. Thumbs up for everyone making The Hunt a success!

What was the correct final answer? Now that the last clue for the final puzzle has been sent and the hunters have submitted their final answers, we'll tell you. You've seen the two sets of symbols in the dunes, right? One set contained symbols that made up the 8 numbers for the solution; the other set defined the order of the number. The two combined made the correct string of numbers: 43642476

Final Leg

Now there is only one stage left. The hunters from around the world that were the first to submit the correct final answer and meet eligibility requirements will compete at a secret location to find the Volvo XC90 inspired by Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

We are currently in the process of contacting finalists for the Final Leg.

Even if you are not one of the finalists, be sure to view the activities that take place during the Final Leg of The Hunt. See who's the best hunter of them all and who'll uncover the buried Volvo XC90. In early August we'll notify you when the films and photos are available on The Hunt website.

Ruffus... Congrats if it really was from Volvo. Have you tried calling the number? It might at least tell you the business name when you call back.

Has anyone in the U.S. got an email from Volvo yet with the final answer?

Do you mean you cannot find the 4th puzzle at all, or you cannot find the answer?

If you cannot find it at all, I think you have to enter the codes from the first 3 puzzles into an item on the desktop. Or maybe you have to open the briefcase, I cannot remember anymore and once the game is done you cannot go back.

If you mean the answer, search for a string of the verse at the top, it should come back with the poem by Lewis Carroll it is from.

Becouse someone called my house from N.Y. Manhattan yesterday,Mon. 17,2006 at 5:44pm. I know that the main office of Volvo is in N.Y.but I'm not sure what it was about.I was not home.

My only question now is are down spouts circular tubes in the U.K.? Because in the U.S. they are rectangular, at least in my experience. That one took me quite a while of guessing, and I got it pretty much from the pictures on the screen rather than the rhymes.

Yeah I am done gonzopirate. Same thing as what it said to me but if you watch he opens the last box and their is a little MP3 player that plays the voice of the person who was on the phone earlier in the game. She says nothing of real importance then says that this is not over. Then in big letters across the screen it says TO BE CONTINUED!

how can anybody see any number in the lanscaspe? i´ve been checking somewhere again (spanish site) and couldn´t find any other number... sometimes we try to make it difficult but the simplest thing is the correct answer.....

Dog - Have you finished the conspiracy? Last I knew you were at a "to be continued" point. I just started last night and got thru the first two puzzle books, but didn't start on the third. Today I got thru the third and it said "well done, you've completed the last puzzle in the conspiracy and will be entered in the prize drawing". It did take about 20 minutes to load the end and I wasn't watching the whole thing when it finished loading, I just came back and that message was on the screen. Very unsatisfying ending.
