Female Videogame Developer Provides A New Perspective
Though the industry average is still extremely low as to the percentage of women in the gaming industry (11.5%) - the majority of that doesn't include women in the developing portion of the business. See what Carolyn "Cari" Begle has to say about actually being one of these game developers.

Begle, who graduated from Lawrence Technological University's computer science program, said she enjoys her job at Stardock, where in-house gaming parties periodically pop up.
Out of 30 people at the company, about six are women (ahead of the industry average). She's the only developer.
"There's not much of the code I don't know about," she said.
She said great video games should appeal to both sexes.
