SPOILERS!!!
The first thing you see is: NORTH TO NORTH
More on that clue later.
On the opening page you will have your first clue.
"NO HEAL A MIST" is an anagram for: THE MONA LISA
Right under that is (ASIL ANOM EHT) which is THE MONA LISA backwards.
These leads to the home page for the puzzle.
NORTH TO NORTH clue: After it loads all of the way, you will be able to "turn" the compass so that the "N" lines up with the arrow that points "North."
This will open a window that (for now?) states:
"WEB EXPEDITION COMING SOON"
In the "Enter Keyword or Phrase" there are 16 spaces.
Note the "double lines" after the fifth space. More on this later.
You can type the following:
LEONARDO
- Produces "VMLZX" in the first 5 spaces in "Your Journey Starts Here:"
DA VINCI
- Does the same as typing in: LEONARDO
SION
- Produces "C" in the 15th space.
[Technical Note - Typing in "SION" does not work for me in Internet Explorer (IE) but does work for me in Mozilla Firefox.]
Here are some notes on the various "areas" of the website. There might or might not be any meaning to these things.
"Characters" page.
- "The Vitruvian Man" in the background.
"Locales" page.
- Pentagram formed by 5 cities.
"Gallery" page.
- "The Last Supper" in the background.
- "Pentagram rewards you the fifth." note.
"Downloads" page.
Here you can download "The Divine Font."
This is a TrueType font and in Windows, you can install and use it as follows:
- Download the "zip" (compressed) file named "DivineFont.zip"
- Unzip the file, usually by "double clicking" on it
- Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, then Fonts
- Go to File, then Install New Font
- Navigate to where you unzipped the font, select it, click on OK
In order to use "The Divine Font" you will need to start up most any word or text processor, even Notepad or WordPad, and select the "The Divine Font" as the font to be used.
Once set, you can type in letters, such as "VMLZX" that was produced in the step above, and you will get alternative text for it.
In this case, "VMLZX" will produce: CRACK
This is the first word in our "Your Journey Starts Here:" message. Note that this takes us up to the "double lines" on the entry area.
A "C" in The Divine Font "translates" to a "D" in our message.
