An anti-E3 taking place in the same place and at the same time of E3? Hmm, call me intrigued. Thankfully, I have an invite coming, or else I'd be nothing but transcribing interview after interview at the hotel, and hanging out exclusively at this event. Still, nice alternative to be there too.

As you may know the founders of the recently revealed Gamecock Media game publisher were largely the founders of the original Gathering of Developers. G.O.D. had a couple of memorable E3 events a few years ago in Los Angeles when they hosted a loud and attention getting party at a parking lot just across the street from E3's former home at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Now it appears that Gamecock is planning to do something similar when the new invite only E3 is held in Santa Monica this July.
