I think I'd rather stick with dodgeball (I ruled at dodgeball!) but I wouldn't have passed on playing some DDR instead of some of the more mundane and silly stuff we had to do in elementary school. Why was it important we do square dancing again? However, not terribly in favor of incorporating it because they want kids to partake in non-competitive things. Hello, life is competitive. We should strive to be what we can be to the best of our ability. Am I the only one who took that message away from The Incredibles?

From the article:

According to a story from The New York Times entitled "P.E. Classes Turn to Video Game That Works Legs, over 1,500 school across America will be using Dance Dance Revolution as a tool in physical education classes by the end of 2010. The article states this move "is part of a general shift in physical education, with school districts de-emphasizing traditional sports in favor of less competitive activities."
